Eastwood bedside table

Paying homage to designer Stuart Williams, the ‘Eastwood Bedside Table’ uses naturally sourced timber and has a print of wood technique (Stuart Williams similarities). Made from Tas oak, celery top pine and marine ply, this table resembles a modern look, and explores how timber can be used to create a different type of furniture. I used polyurethane to print ‘Clint Eastwood in Alcatraz’ image onto celery top pine, and later used the same polyurethane to finish the bedside table, creating a ‘natural’ looking finish.
