Duncan Meerding really plays with light and shadow in his designs, this is the main inspiration I want to take forward into my product. I will also include nature by abstracting a form from the natural environment and apply that to my product. I will also use native Tasmanian eucalypts as the material, making sure it is sustainably sourced. I think this brief outline will give me enough of a platform to create some new ideas and make my own product, drawing inspiration from the world around me as well as Duncan.
