materials used have their strengths and weaknesses. Driftwood can be very
difficult to work with as it is sometimes in a very brittle state and can just
simply break away and split as I personally learnt and experienced however it
creates a one of a kind piece which can not be recreated due to the individual
nature of each driftwood piece. Oxidised silver is very easy to work with and
has very forgiving qualities which makes working with it delightful. Silk is
also a very beautiful to work with and has very pleasing visual aspects however
is not entirely practicable at times as it can stretch and break overtime so is
better used for occasional pieces.
