Process Reflection of my journey:
After researching through furniture designer and maker, Laura Mccusker, The process of using Tasmanian Oak to make the table is quite simple.
The process consists of choosing the type of wood that is stable, last for a long period of time and age slowly.
After that, the idea behind the table design was to make it into a meeting table for two to three people or for a big group of people and make it into a shape-maintaining and timeless design, which means it will not be out of fashion, can last for as long as possible and also due to clients' request as well.
Iron Oxide was involved inorder to make the table's color darken and turn it into shilouette-like.
