Scott Van Tuil engaged in exploring more economical use of timber, veneer, and plywood, which resonates with my thought that attempting to use of readily obtainable industrial production material rather than precious solid timber. Veneer and plywood are made in a similar process. Veneer is more decorative to utilize the visual properties from precious wood. Plywood is sliced into thin layers before gluing up in the alternate direction and hot-pressed by which the construction of plywood is very stable and able to hold screw well. I would like to try plywood bending and veneering in my practice, if possible.
